Baku's Museum of Modern Art has a collection of over 800 pieces, most of which are avant-garde in nature and represent the brightest painters and sculptors of the last 70 years. You can admire the works of artists such as Rasim Babayev, Ashraf Murad, Fazil Najafov, Sattar Bahlulzade, Tahir Salakhov and many, many more inspiring Azerbaijani artists who came of age in the 1960s and 1970s with paintings and sculptures inspired by the landscapes, colours and culture of Azerbaijan.

There's also a selection of works by European masters like Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall and Pablo Picasso. The contemporary building itself is a delight to visit for its light and spacious interior including a children's art room, library, video room, restaurant and art café.
