Designed by the illustrious architect Zaha Hadid, this is one of Baku's most iconic landmarks whose fluid form is a veritable symphony of curves. But besides this extraordinary, award-winning appearance the centre also houses some of the best art and museum spaces in the city which span four floors.

Permanent exhibitions include Miniatures of Azerbaijan, an informative collection of miniature models of Azerbaijan's most distinctive landmarks, and Pearls of Azerbaijan, which showcases the country's deep-rooted culture and traditions. There's also a museum dedicated to the national leader, Heydar Aliyev, as well as a unique collection of vintage cars, not to mention a regular programme of word-class temporary exhibitions.
